Renovating your home, office, or shop can be an exciting and highly rewarding experience. However, before you begin, it is essential that you protect yourself against potential financial loss or liability claims that could arise from accidents during renovation. Such coverage is often insufficient under home insurance plans.
Decoration Protection Insurance promises to give you the comprehensive protection you need to carry out your decoration, maintenance, or renovation work. Five plan levels are available for you to select from, covering a contract value of up to HK$500,000. For your added flexibility, you may choose third party liability coverage only, which will protect you against potentially huge liability claims.

Major Exclusions |

Any fault, defect, error, or omission in or failure of any design plan or specification. |
| 2. |
Any defect in material or workmanship other than resulting from an accident. |
| 3. |
Loss of use, liquidated damages, penalties, performance guarantees, or other consequential losses. |
| 4. |
Loss or damage due to wear and tear, rust, mildew, or other deterioration due to gradually operating causes. |
| 5. |
Liability in respect of compensation claimed from the insured by an injured person or dependant under any Employees Compensation Legislation. |

The building's age cannot exceed 40 years at the time of enrolment under this plan. |
| 2. |
This plan covers single contract work for individual premises only. |
| 3. |
This plan excludes works involving neon signs, exterior signboards, cages, cladding, and a building's public and common areas. |
| 4. |
This plan excludes any maintenance, overhauling, and/or inspection of machinery. |
| 5. |
Please refer to the works quotation for plan selection and apply for insurance coverage before the commencement date of work. |
| 6. |
No premium refund, cancellation or amendment is allowed once the policy is effected. |
